These pictures are from our family hike on Ocean Path at Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island, Maine. Amaris, Erin, Sebastian, Theodore, Jacqueline and myself hiked a little more than 3 miles. We left from Sand Beach and headed south, past Thunder Hole, and on towards Otter Point, and then back. These pictures were taken from the trail or on the rocks along the trail. I think the views are beautiful. It’s no wonder that Acadia is in the top 10 most visited National Parks each year. We saw folks from all over the U.S., Canada, and many other countries while we were in the park. There was even a complete tour being made by folks from Japan, who arrived on several luxury buses.
To me, some of these look like classical Coastal Maine shots, and others remind me of the Lake Tahoe area, or certainly something out west. Anyway, enjoy them. The day was gorgeous. The temperature was around 77 degrees with light breezes. Humidity was low and the air felt just about perfect. We had a great time, and I hope you have fun with these shots.
