I am assuming that most of you have at least 10-12 minutes today or tomorrow to read through news articles, social media posts, and commentary regarding the various protests and stances surrounding our National Anthem and the American Flag.
So, if you so choose, take 10 minutes and listen to a perspective explaining some U.S. history. I find this pertinent simply because history cannot be erased or undone and it reminds us that there is plenty to learn from it.
In our house, we stand. Yes, we all have a freedom of speech. My freedom is no, more, or less, important than yours. Remember though, that freedom is not free, and millions of Americans, even allies, have put everything on the line time and time again so that we can enjoy our freedom. This is not to be forgotten, nor abused, so out of respect, and puffed with pride, united we stand.
