Day six. Turner, Maine. Martin Stream Campground.
We rented canoes on day six, and it was a blast! We meandered out through Martin Stream into the bigger water of the Nezinscot River. We saw turtles, fish, otter, kingfishers, ducks, geese, a great blue heron, crawfish, and more. Later on, we checked out Ricker Hill Farm which has been in the same family since it was founded in 1803. Then it was card games, a campfire, more meteors, and off to bed.
