Roughly 10 weeks ago these two teams met for the first time of the season. In that game, the Flames had some chances but couldn’t bury enough of them, and lost 10-3. Today, the Flames were down 3-1 to the Boch Blazers, just a little more than ten minutes into the game.
Little did we know that at 3-1, with two plus periods still to play, the Blazers would not score again. The Flames got some timely goaltending and good team defense while kicking up their offense a few gears. Manchester took a 4-3 lead after two periods, and then pulled away, with three more goals in the final period, for a 7-3 win at West Side Arena.
Here are a whole bunch of pictures from today’s come from behind victory. Several pictures have the puck in flight so zoom in and check them out if you wish. Enjoy!
