Written by With no league games on the schedule for the weekend, the Flames played host to the undefeated Granite State Wild team on Saturday at JFK.
Despite a contest that had no effect on any standings, it was an intense game. The Wild held on for a 4-2 victory. When the Wild took a 2-0 lead, the Flames didn’t back down. Both teams were relentless in their effort and pressure. By the time this game was done, both teams looked quite winded.
Well, it could have just as easily been a been a day off, but these two teams played a good game and both teams will be better for it.
