The 2010 Flames have been back in NH for a pair of weekends since their unforgettable team trip to Lake Placid. Since they have been back in NH, they have a record of 0-2-2. Also, since they have been back in NH, they have yet to play a game with their full roster from Lake Placid.
Primarily, sickness has been the biggest culprit in reducing the roster by a player or two for each of their last four games. Just an every year, late fall, type of sickness that kids pass from one to another. I am sure there will be more of it, but obviously we hope that all are safe, healthy, and sound.
After the high of winning three out of four games in the Olympic Center at Lake Placid, including the Bronze Medal game, the 2010 Flames have been battling some real good competition back in NH. The Flames played the Dover Wild on Saturday, November 12 and dropped a 7-4 decision at JFK. They fell way behind in that game, but battled right through final period to cut into the lead some. Later in the day, after a congested ride to The Bog, the Flames and Breakers played a great game. With goaltending and defense the lead story, the Breakers held on for a 2-1 win.
On the following Saturday the 2010 Flames played two games back in NH. They traveled up the road a few miles for a spirited affair against the Jr. Monarchs which ended up in a 5-5 tie. The Flames led 5-2 and then got tired or took their foot off of the gas, and held on for a tie. Then in an late afternoon game at West Side Arena, the Flames managed a 2-2 tie against the unbeaten Hanover Wild. The Flames led 1-0, then fell behind 2-1 before rallying for the tying goal with their goaltender pulled.
The 2010 Flames will celebrate Thanksgiving with their families on Thursday, and hopefully everyone will get a chance to rest and get healthy. Then, on Friday afternoon the Flames will begin play in the 2022 Turkey Shoot-Out Tournament, here, back in NH. The tournament is headquartered at Tri-Town Arena in Hooksett, NH.
They are scheduled to play at 2:30pm on Friday afternoon. Then they play at 9:00am on Saturday down at Cyclones arena. Saturday afternoon they are back at Tri-Town for a game at 4:20pm. Sunday is reserved for the final four of the tournament, and we will have to wait and see if the Flames advance to Sunday. One neat thing about this opportunity for the Flames is that they get to play a bunch of teams that they don’t normally play in league competition.

I only took pictures at two of the four games since we have been back in NH. I hope you find some pictures to your liking. My goal is to share these fleeting, but special moments in time, of kids at play. Playing a sport they love and choose to participate in.
As always with these galleries, please feel free to click on the pictures, and zoom in to have a look around. Also, please enjoy! The title of the picture will give you clues if you need them. This is for the kids. Thank you for your time.
