Photography 101. Trying something a little different. I have hundreds of wildlife photos, but wanted to try another approach. This is looking down an oak tree out behind my house. Continue Reading...
My Street
In the foreground you'll see there's a street sign warning drivers that the bridge will freeze before the roadway. Further back you see the guard rail that keeps things from falling off of the bridge. The street is called a road, and although there's no traffic on the road in the picture, I did have to wait on several cars to pass before I stepped out and took the picture. This section of road is Continue Reading...
Thank you Baseball
To Coach Hartwell and Coach Dodge: This morning I woke wishing we still had games left to coach, or even tournament games left to organize. Excuses for me to be at Allard Park are easy to come by. Mostly though, I wanted to thank you both for welcoming me into your dugout. You two were selfless in regard to our pecking order and were very open minded regarding discussion, thought process, and Continue Reading...

Goffstown in Baseball, and the NCAA Tournament
Yes, I have lived in Goffstown, NH for the better part of 20 years. I am quite proud of the sports teams in our small town (population of roughly 17,700), especially in baseball. New Boston, NH (population of roughly 5,300) is part of the Goffstown School District and is very much a part of our community. This is just an update of some players from the Goffstown School District or Goffstown Continue Reading...

Two sides of Time
I hear it a lot, everywhere, in fact. "Time flies." "Where has the time gone?" "There's just not enough hours in the day." So on, and so forth. And, for the most part I agree, time marches on. Sometimes it seems to move faster than it does at other periods of our lives. So, the one side of time, is the fleeting glimpse of the persons, pieces, and moments that occupied the space formerly known as Continue Reading...
Today’s Cure: Healthy Imagination
After a relatively sleepless night dealing with coughs, colds, fevers, and a case of croup, the twins and I are settled in for the day. We received 3 or 4 inches of wet snow overnight. It'll likely disappear by the end of the day, but there's still several inches of frozen snow in the yard under the fresh stuff. We decided to keep the twins home from pre-pre school this morning. So now it's the Continue Reading...
The Twins Go To School
Today was another day to remember. The twins, at three-and-a-half years old, went to their first day of school. Well, pre-pre-school, as I call it. Either way, there were pictures, good-byes, anticipations, uncertainties, and excitement. To my knowledge there were no tears, and once the twins saw the school they barely even noticed that I was there any longer. Jacqueline looked back at me, but Continue Reading...
