After playing four games over the weekend during Christmas break while many teams had a lesser schedule the hockey powers that be said to the 2010 Flames, “Try this on for size”. 2010 Flames Get Shutout Win at Kearsarge

The Flames started the new year with two road games on Saturday, to be followed by two more road games on Sunday. Manchester made their way to Proctor Academy on a rainy, foggy, winter morning to play a game against Kearsarge. Once again it was an early morning start for the Flames on a weekend smack dab in the middle of a holiday week. The 2010 Flames and their hockey family headed for Canton, MA while it was still dark this morning. 2010 Flames Hold Off The Concord Capitals, 7-4

After an early trip to Dedham, Mass. earlier this morning for a 10-2 drubbing at the hands of the Boch Blazers, the Flames returned home for an afternoon clash with the Concord Capitals. 2010 Flames Come Back To Win in a Stunning Shootout Victory at Jay Peak

When you watch 9 and 10 year-old kids play youth ice hockey in a tournament miles from anywhere, how exciting can it be? I mean half of these kids have been playing hockey or even skating for less than 3 seasons. But there we were, parents, kids, players from various teams, coaches, representing all ages and sizes, each edging closer to the glass just to see how this game would finish.

2010 Flames Play Well in Win over SASA at Jay Peak

On Saturday afternoon the 2010 Flames broke into the win column with a 4-2 win over SASA of St. Albans, VT. The Flames gave a solid effort from start to finish in earning the victory. I must say that the goaltender for SASA played very well and kept his team in the game.
