Today, the twins (now 6 years old all of a sudden) graduated from kindergarten. There was a short celebration event outside the school in the 87 F heat.
The kids, separated into their three different class groups, and walked in a procession to the front of the seating area. They sang some songs, received their certificates, and listened to some remarks, all after we all pledged allegiance to the flag. Listening to myself recite the words to the pledge made me think of many stories that have made recent headlines around the globe. I will leave it at that for now. The ceremony was brief and it was adorable. Class of 2028
School vacation week is done. Now, it’s back to our mornings together at home. Today we thought of Grampy and shared a hug so we could lift each other up. I love these two, and… Morning at Home
The twins and I had a little bit of down time after school. We all stayed close together though.
Then right in the middle of overtired, battling every cold that comes home, body aching, attitudes in need of adjustment, and a list of things to get done that just won’t quit; there is peace in prayer.
So, while everyone else seemed to be outside moving snow around, especially off of their roofs (modern English), over the weekend, I was busy with other things. Then today, with the wind whipping, hard and cold out of the northwest, I decided to get up on my roof. I ended up being on the rooftop, or at least on the top of the highest roof I could actually get to, for more than two hours.Snow Removal, or at least Relocated
