Once upon a time, there was a year when facts and fears were so hard to separate,
And a health hazard gained so much attention, boys and girls couldn’t even ice skate.
Finally, the kids were back on the ice this weekend. In hockey life, taking a 2 week break (October) and a 10 day break (December) seems like a break between seasons with a schedule that is usually non-stop.
The 2010 Flames played in Dover on Saturday morning, against the Granite State Wild (undefeated). It was a really good game. Dover (Granite State) won by a 2-1 margin in a tightly contested game. The Flames trailed 1-0 before tying the game. Then, down 2-1, the Flames were awarded a penalty shot which was denied by the Wild goaltender. The game was that close.

- While the paperwork was being finalized, I dozed off and apparently snapped a shot of the magnitude if there were any.
- Then the goalie verbally agreed to the terms of what was about to happen.
- After all the details were agreed upon, someone threw a puck on the ice and Cam just started chasing it.
- Upon gaining control, Cam set up a series of moves in order to mesmerize the opponent.
- But the goalie fought off the mental attack, stayed patient, and awake.
- Cam made the move, took the shot, and the goalie made a really nice save on the play.
