The 2010 Flames battled to a pair of victories over the weekend, but it wasn’t easy. On Saturday, the Flames had all they could handle in a 3-1 win against the Bandits. The game was a 2-1 affair until the Flames were able to bury an empty net goal in the final minute of the game.
- I still love the opening face-off of hockey games.
- Alex rushed in from the point and fired a shot that glanced wide off of the goalie.
- Cam is wide open at his post but the puck just wouldn’t cooperate.
- The Bandits had a breakaway bid and Travis made himself as big as he kid for a butterfly. Shoulder save.
- Coach Scott explains, “On second thought, everyone look at Travis finish his sports drink commercial shoot.
- I don’t know if anyone in the rink ever hears anyone yell, “Shoot the puck!!!!” Either way, Gavin fired this shot.
- Brayden leads the rush with Jacob “Chevy” Casamaro riding shotgun.
- The players line up, more or less, for a face-off.
- I love when these kids come together. Coach Scott looks content with the talk. Meanwhile, Coach Nick, “What did he just tell them?”
- Finley gets a shot away against the Bandits, at West Side Arena.
- When “Panitz at the Disco” is around, anything is possible, even two pucks?
- That’s it! Get in there and win that face-off.
- Sean gets free and breaks in behind the defense to seal the deal.
- The puck hits the twine and the Flames take a 3-1 lead.
