2010 Flames Sweep The Day

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! The Flames took to the ice this morning in the first of two games today, with hopes of maintaining some recent winning ways.

The Flames played the Cyclones this morning at JFK Coliseum in a 1-0, largely defensive, battle for at least two periods. Then relentless waves of the Flames offensive pressure erupted for half a dozen goals in the third period. The Flames won, 6-2.

In the afternoon game, at West Side Arena, the Flames hosted the Henniker Huskies. The Flames scored early and often enroute to a 14-4 victory.

Game One: Flames 6 Cyclones 2

On this play, Austin flipped the puck up into the air towards the net, like an alley-oop pass.

Then kind of like a dropped ball on a fair catch, the puck dropped into the net for a Flames goal.

Game Two: Flames 14 Huskies 4
