The 2010 Flames battled to a pair of victories over the weekend, but it wasn’t easy. On Sunday, the Flames trailed 1-0 after the opening period. Then the Flames erupted for six goals in the middle period, and held on for a 7-3 win against the Crimson.
These two teams don’t appear to be too far apart in capability on the ice. In the second period though, the Flames turned up their skating game, hit the net with their shots, and followed up on any rebounds. The Flames deposited 6 goals into the net and put the game in the ‘W’ column. This followed a 3-1 victory on Saturday over at West Side Arena.
Please take a look at some pictures from Sunday’s game at JFK Coliseum. Enjoy.
