Abrams Pond 2018

We were fortunate enough to get to Abrams Pond again this year. We had lots of downtime with family and enjoyed a gorgeous week of humidity-free summer weather.

Between reading books, cooking lobsters, and hilarious games of Bananagrams, we celebrated my wife’s birthday at Beal’s Lobster Pier in Southwest Harbor. We had a blast at Seal Cove on the “quiet side” of Mount Desert Island. My wife, the twins, and I spent some time in Acadia National Park as well, primarily checking out the entire Eagle Lake Trail and the views that came with it. We had an awesome week with countless laughs, and just as many memories made. Lord willing, we will be back again.

Theodore loves all the animals.
We found these little hermit crabs at Seal Cove.
The weather in Eastbrook was crisp and cool in the evening (Finally!) and the fire felt great.
Fire burning, the moon rising, loons were calling, and all was calm.
