I am just a man. I am a father, a son, and a husband. I am a homemaker, caretaker, coach, writer, speaker, and photographer. I love God. I love my family. I love my country. God has blessed my family and I, and I am eternally grateful. Author of Generation Jumping: Losing those who are not lost. Downtime with my family is about as good as it gets for me. Being outdoors in nature, among the animals and the wilderness, the Created, comes pretty close. Baseball, followed by hockey, are my two favorite sports, with several others a close third. I would rather do it right the first time. Honesty, respect, and integrity are virtues that I hold dear, so I call it like I see it. Before we as a society attempt to re-define these words, I will be here telling the raw truth.
The end of a matter is better than its beginning;
likewise, patience is better than pride.
I have competed well; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith!
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. 2 Peter 2:22.
Ecclesiastes 4:7-12 (NLT)
The Advantages of Team
I observed yet another example of something meaningless under the sun. This is the case of a man who is all alone, without a child or a brother, yet who works hard to gain as much wealth as he can. But then he asks himself, βWho am I working for? Why am I giving up so much pleasure now?β It is all so meaningless and depressing.
Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
So we must not grow tired in doing good, for in due time we will gather the reward, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
Donβt be selfish; donβt try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Donβt look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. Philippians 2:3-4
Donβt let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say; in the way you live… 1 Timothy 4:12
Warren No Defeats: Like A Riverβs Will
In the book, War and Peace, Leo Tolstoy reasoned that history is not shaped by great men, but rather, by the collective actions of countless individuals. Like a riverβs current carving its own path, with its inexorable force, the sum of countless drops of water acting individually but in concert at the same time, creating a larger, unified, decisive movement.Β
For Humankind, Because Charlie’s Blood Is Watering Your Field.
Turning Point
A time at which a decisive change occursβespecially when blood waters the seed of new creation.
Genesis 1:1 – “In the beginning, God⦔
These are my favorite four words. If true, Charlie Kirkβs murder was evilβnot just chemistry. But thereβs more:
Genesis 1:1 declares: Creation is intentional, ordered, solely Godβs act. Human dignity is inherentβslavery, abuse, exploitation become sins against a holy God.
Creation has purpose β Ethics, justice, meaning are objective realities (not social constructs). I believe as Charlie did: βThe greatest miracle is creation.β
Ripples:
Imagine your life as a timeline, stretching from here to the horizon.
The space, a placid lake that watches sunsets and suns rising.
A timeline laid out before us, where it finishes we know not when.
It doesnβt seem so long measured against God, the beginning and the end.
Deer Delay – Last day of June, 2025.Β
After work on Monday afternoon, I went down to Londonderry to cut some grass. I was at Mom’s, the house and yard that I grew up in.
Itβs 3:16 am, and I am awake before my alarm. My body is tired from driving 1,000 plus miles and working 30 plus hours over the past 3 days. But my internal clock woke me early because my mind has things to do. The 3:16 made me think of John 3:16 and thatβs a good start to any day.
I was sitting at the featured table in the conference room during my second interview with a new company. Honestly, just a second interview with this company already felt like a win. Something felt different. Better. Authentic. And I hadn’t even started yet.
Saturday, March 21, 2025 – Sitting On Thinking Rock.
Full season hockey, it runs from September until sometime in March. It’s a lot. It’s a love. And this one, well, this was the last full season.
Well folks, high school playoff hockey time has come and gone here in New Hampshire. It was awesome! What a day (and night) at SNHU Arena! Congratulations to all of the players that were able to participate in the State Tournament! It’s all about the kids.
There is one day left in the 2024-2025 NHIAA Ice Hockey season. And everything will be decided on the ice at SNHU Arena on Saturday, March 15th.
All of this will feel better over time. The extra period started slow for the home team, but it got much better. Even though the road team won, it would be hard to find any better over time.

Perhaps this page is just for me. I look for results, numbers, and other things having to do with NHIAA D3 Hockey, many times after seasons are long gone. So, here is a bunch of Boys D3 Hockey stuff, on one page.

“Sticks and Stones” is an English-language children’s rhyme.
The rhyme is used as a defense against name-calling and verbal bullying, intended to increase resiliency, avoid physical retaliation, and/or to remain calm and indifferent.
The full rhyme is usually a variant of:
Sticks and stones may break my bones
But words shall never hurt me.
There was a good crowd on hand at Tri-Town Ice Arena on Wednesday night for the Brady-Valley’s last game of the season. The Giants gave a good battle, but in the end, the Grizzlies offense kept rolling along. Goffstown secured a #4 seed in the standings with their 8-3 triumph on Ryan Frew Memorial Rink.
The breaks and bounces went the War Hawks way during a three-goal second period 68 days earlier on December 16th. On Grizzlies Senior Night, the breaks and bounces went Goffstown’s way en route to a 3-0 win.
