Day seven. Acadia National Park. Schoodic Woods Campground.
On day seven we broke down our camp at Martin Stream Campground before heading to Acadia National Park and Schoodic Woods Campground. Before we said goodbye to my wife we stopped in Buckfield, Maine for another lunch at Buck-It Pub & Grill. Once again, the food and service were excellent. Amaris drove towards home and we took off through Augusta to Ellsworth and out to the Schoodic Peninsula. We checked in at the ranger station, found our site (kind of small), and set up the camp. We went over to the amphitheater to attend our first of several ranger-led programs over our time at the National Park. The kids went to sleep studying their Jr. Ranger books.
