Imagine a place so beautiful that you would travel hundreds of miles just to see it. Just to circle through the area in hopes of not missing a single beautiful angle. Just to let the scenes wash over you. A place to stop and have a long look, just to “drink it all in”. First, let’s start with a few simple pictures from my phone. These were taken in New Brunswick, Canada.

Then I took some pictures from my camera as well. See I generally make this trip to New Brunswick at least twice a year. I make the trip so that I can spend time with family, mostly from the generation before mine. The people are the reason for the trip. I mean these people are some of the most revered, dignified people I have ever known, their time on earth has been long and worth learning from and emulating. Then in, and around, the visits, the fellowship, and the joy found there, is some of the most beautiful country I have had the pleasure of spending time in. The blessing and pleasure; it’s all mine.

The colors were so vibrant and bright that the camera couldn’t even deal properly with the glow. These colors are not jacked up, they’re just incredible.

For more than 150 miles, beginning in New Brunswick, and right on through the highlands of Maine, the glow of fall colors captured my attention. It was a cloudy day, and still, the reds especially, caused us to stop, and look closer, almost expecting the leaves to be fake. These colors, and this scene, all possible without any help from mankind.
