All-State Grizzlies – Hockey
Three more Grizzlies were named to All-State Teams. Congrats to Kyle, Jackson, and Zack.

Spaulding advances by way of a 5-1 QF win over Goffstown.
Goffstown needed a win to secure a home playoff game and they got it done on the road, 3-0.
The opponents are scheduled. The times and places change. Yet, the game you play, and how you play it determine everything. Playing for position, shift after shift, line after line.

The kids were playing the game they love. Both teams out on the ice, learning and growing in real-time. Great fun at the rink for some JV Hockey.
Sometimes seasons of misses build the stage that leads to a game-winning-goal you dream about.
The Admirals skated circles around the Goffstown Hockey team after Senior Night 2026 celebrations. Best skating Grizzlie was the actual bear during pregame.
Five goals. Ten assists. Zero ego. So refreshing. The teams were joyful. We all loved it. Jam-Packed Value.
Some youngsters showed up where some big boys were playing hockey. Then spent 45 minutes trying not to anger them.
Start with this. Play In School. Maybe another player will stay, play, and register a Hattie on Hundred Night.
Have we sped life up to the pace that no longer allows for the ‘times of our lives’ to play out? Start with this. Play In School.

The end of a matter is better than its beginning;
likewise, patience is better than pride.
I have competed well; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith!
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. 2 Peter 2:22.

The Advantages of Team
I observed yet another example of something meaningless under the sun. This is the case of a man who is all alone, without a child or a brother, yet who works hard to gain as much wealth as he can. But then he asks himself, “Who am I working for? Why am I giving up so much pleasure now?” It is all so meaningless and depressing.
Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
So we must not grow tired in doing good, for in due time we will gather the reward, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. Philippians 2:3-4
Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say; in the way you live… 1 Timothy 4:12
All of this will feel better over time. The extra period started slow for the home team, but it got much better. Even though the road team won, it would be hard to find any better over time.
Perhaps this page is just for me. I look for results, numbers, and other things having to do with NHIAA Hockey, many times after seasons are long gone. So, here is a bunch of stuff, including all the best teams in NHIAA DII Hockey 2024-25 on one page.
“Sticks and Stones” is an English-language children’s rhyme.
The rhyme is used as a defense against name-calling and verbal bullying, intended to increase resiliency, avoid physical retaliation, and/or to remain calm and indifferent.
The full rhyme is usually a variant of:
Sticks and stones may break my bones
But words shall never hurt me.
There was a good crowd on hand at Tri-Town Ice Arena on Wednesday night for the Brady-Valley’s last game of the season. The Giants gave a good battle, but in the end, the Grizzlies offense kept rolling along. Goffstown secured a #4 seed in the standings with their 8-3 triumph on Ryan Frew Memorial Rink.
The breaks and bounces went the War Hawks way during a three-goal second period 68 days earlier on December 16th. On Grizzlies Senior Night, the breaks and bounces went Goffstown’s way en route to a 3-0 win.
If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. Except, I describe the goals (read on) and a few facts. That is all.
