September 30, 2023 – Five Sunrises
There is something special, almost exciting, about being up before the dawn’s early light
The day is not promised, but there you are, alive and wide-eyed, still attached to the night
If there is the gift of a new day, then you are already moving, well on your way
Somewhere in the reaches of mind there is wonder of what might happen in the new day
For me, I pray, and humble myself before the giver of all that we hold so dear
No matter what the new dawn may hold, to Him I wish to draw near
So, here I share while I wander in awesome wonder the beauty of five sunrises
From this beautiful start comes our daily lives, constantly full of surprises
Oh my absolutely glorious
