After my One Night In Pittsburg, it was time to head south again. Though I am always reluctant to leave. In part, I love the pace or the lack thereof up in the north country, then I also know that once I am back home, the pace waits for no one. Continue Reading...
One Night In Pittsburg
Everyone once in a while I am fortunate enough to have a day, or a night, or a 24-hour window to hurry up and slow down. This past week I had one such opportunity. Continue Reading...
Day Trip: Mad River
One of my favorite places over the last 20 years, playing in the Mad River. All the kids have been here multiple times. Continue Reading...
One Day in New Brunswick
For me there is still a place where I can visit, a place where life does slow down just a little bit. Carleton County, New Brunswick, Canada. Driving around the hills of Knoxford and the farms of Wilmot, Charleston, and Williamstown, with a scenic stop in Lakeville, it just doesn't get much better than that for me. This time of the year, the sun is higher in Continue Reading...

Winter Week
After a week of good old-fashioned winter weather, things are looking a little better around here. We had 31.5" of snow in the last 7 days. Finally, a week of winter, to help rescue us from another weak winter. I am thinking I will be up on the roof this week. #ILoveWinter. Continue Reading...
