2010 Flames Get All Tied Up At Rochester, 3-3

The ride out to Rochester was a lot of fun as my son and I shared many laughs along the way. We generally have a pretty good time together on these rides to hockey rinks all over New England. Once we arrived at Rochester Ice Arena it was time to be herded through protocols. 2010 Flames Get All Tied Up At Rochester, 3-3

Two weeks removed from something resembling winter and just as long since their last hockey game, the Goffstown Grizzlies roared into the new and improved Rochester Ice Arena for a tilt with Spaulding. Goffstown showed no signs of rust on their game jumping out to a 5-1 lead after one period and skating to a 10-4 win.

From Rochester Ice Arena in Rochester, NH – January 5, 2019:

If you count the Christmas Tournament, Goffstown has played 10 games so far this season. Interestingly perhaps, they have played 9 of those 10 games on the road, away from Sullivan Arena in Goffstown. The Brian C. Stone Memorial Christmas Hockey Tournament was played at JFK Coliseum in Manchester, NH.

From the Rochester Ice Arena in Rochester, NH –

Last night out in Rochester I walked, or slid, or skated, and might have completed an inadvertent toe loop as I made my way through the maze of mayhem in the frozen area formerly known as a parking lot. I finally made it to the entrance and walked into the old building on Lowell Street just in time to see Somersworth-Coe Brown wrap up their 11-2 win over Laconia-Winnisquam, getting their first win of the season, in Division III action. By the time the ice was resurfaced and introductions were done, Goffstown and Spaulding faced off at just about 8:10pm.
