When the Singing Stops – For more than a decade, I’ve been writing about the hymns that carry me. The ones that stop me in my tracks on long drives through northern New England. Of the ones I find myself silently singing during the quiet buzz of anticipation that builds before the contest in an empty arena. The words and visuals that bridge me to Scripture in the moments when suffering makes God more present, not less.
I’ve gathered my reflection on “Were You There” into a downloadable PDF. It includes the simple, but powerful Line Graph visual – when we are less, He is more – and a fifth verse I wrote that focuses on manner of life now, looking forward to what’s coming.
If this reflection touched your heart, I have expanded these thoughts into an 8-page digital guide called “When the Singing Stops.”
Because I want to meet you exactly where you are in your quiet time, I have also recorded a 20-minute audio edition and a cinematic video layered entirely with my own nature photography from the road.
